Recognizing this crucial need, we are excited to announce a breakthrough initiative: our new Master of Education for Health Professionals program. This program is designed to empower healthcare professionals to enhance their teaching skills and make a lasting impact on healthcare education.
Under the esteemed leadership and support of PHU Director Anne E. Peterson, MD, MPH, and with the invaluable contributions of Instructional Designer Pablo Baldiviezo, MD. MSc., our Instructional Design Team, has worked most diligently to create this program. Their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in crafting a curriculum that meets the highest standards of quality and relevance. As a result of their efforts, we are proud to announce the launch of the first two (2) courses for the upcoming semester, which kicks off on March 18th, 2024: Teaching and Learning in Health Professions Education and Health in the Context of Health Systems. These courses have been meticulously designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of key concepts and practical skills essential for success in healthcare education.
In today’s rapidly changing healthcare landscape, the demand for specialized education tailored to the unique challenges and demands of the industry is more apparent than ever. Our Master of Education for Health Professionals program addresses this critical need in several key ways:
