Introducing CCIH
CCIH is a global network of organizations and individuals committed to advancing health and well-being. With its diverse membership working in more than 90 countries , CCIH seeks to foster a world where everyone has access to quality healthcare and prevention services. Some examples of these initiatives involve strengthening health systems, advocating for global health programs, improving reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health, and building capacity among its members. In May 2024, CCIH hosted a conference in Kenya under the theme “Mental Health Matters.” Attendees included health program staff, community health workers, health association leaders, church and lay leaders, psychologists, psychiatrists, and mental health practitioners. Together, they explored ways to integrate mental health into community health services and strengthen support for caregivers and self-care practices.
